We offer multiple training programs, each building on the next. From basic obedience to the ultimate hunting companion and competitor.
Obedience
Basic and advanced programs are centered on a well behaved family dog. Commands learned in our obedience program include sit, here, heel, stay, down and kennel.
Basic Gun Dog
The gun dog program is designed to build a dog that is at a level that any hunter would be proud to take to the field. This program builds on obedience and progresses to collar conditioning, force fetch, steadiness, marking and hunting situation prep.
Competitive Hunt Test
This level of training achieves the ultimate hunting retriever. These dogs have been through the basic program and have fine tuned their skills and are prepared to be tested in the AKC Hunt Test Program. These dogs will be prepared to earn titles from Junior Hunter to Master National Hunter.
Whelping Service
We created our Whelping Service in 2015 to assist our clients with raising their litters. This has in turn allowed us to provide a source for customers looking for a quality breeding. We have many talented dogs come in for training and their owners are interested in breeding, but they don’t have the time or space to raise a litter of puppies. Our Whelping Service includes advertising for the litter, handling all the questions that come with selling a litter including the phone calls, emails and visitations for the new puppy owners. We strive to place puppies with homes that are best possible match for each individual puppy.
